For all the talk of Tottenham being the favourites for this Saturday’s clash at the Emirates Stadium, form and quality often go out of the window when it comes to local feuds with the bitterness of the north London derby.

Accordingly, we asked Tottenham fans earlier this week which deep-lying playmaker should start in the engine room against the Gunners; promising youngster Harry Winks, the ever-robust Mousa Dembele or both.
Our poll was a close-run affair, with Winks taking a quarter of the vote and Dembele ranking 10% higher, but ‘both’ coming out on top at 40%. Clearly, Spurs fans think guile will be as important as grit in beating Arsenal this weekend.
