Parkinson is confident that a positive response will be offered to a rare wobble, telling reporters of how he intends to ensure that collective standards are raised on the back of a disappointing 3-1 reversal at Salford: “I said to the lads that individuals have to find a way to play better in these types of games and collectively we need to do better. We picked Jordan Tunnicliffe and Aaron Hayden, strong, physical players because we knew what it was going to be like but we still conceded two goals from set-plays. In any season, you have runs where it doesn't go your way and we have got to work to come out of this dip quickly and we will do. We haven't had too many dips over the last few years like this where results haven't gone for us so we are not going to start criticising individuals or going too mad. We are just going to work together as a group to come through this little dip and come out the other side of it. As a group we have got to find solutions and we are going to do that.”

Wrexham will be back on home soil on Saturday when playing host to Bradford City. Parkinson will be looking for their spark to be rekindled in that contest, with his side still just six points adrift of table-topping Stockport County with 18 games left to take in.
